Every breath, every feeling, every moment is unique. A fulfilling life embraces the full spectrum of what it is to be human. Embracing each and every challenge as you do each and every success. None are the same yet all are similar in some way. The unifying aspect is you. This is your story. We all get one. Experience denial and experience acceptance. Experience love and experience hate. Deny love. Accept love. Deny hate. Accept hate. Each and every one of us does in some way or the other.

In time, over coffee, reflect on your own personal journey. That is the only story you have to tell. How you tell it is the only choice you have. It is a story unfolding before your very eyes. There is an inexhaustible list of ways in which you can express it. Through dance, through song, through work or through play. All are equal yet none are the same. The illusion of choice will never be any more than that.

At times, you will be certain that you are choosing. In at least some part, that is denial. At times, you will be certain you have no choice. In at least some part, that is also denial. At times, you will accept you have choices to make. In at least some part, that is denial. At times, you will accept that you have no choice. In at least some part, that is also denial.

Understanding this is the key to enjoying your life. Nothing is certain. You can believe this or not. The choice is yours. Also you will reach a point where you have no choice in the matter. These rationalisations are functions of the mind and of the body. They exist in time. In any given moment, they do not exist at all. No thought can be achieved in a single moment nor can any feeling. They must span across time in order to become ascertainable. Therefore, at any given moment, you are relying on your own subjective interpretation of the past and the future in order to determine how you feel and what you think. This relentless process over time never ceases. It continues through your sleep and as every moment passes. Herein lies the mystery of life. The mystery never ceases to amaze you and yet the sameness of it all will always bore you. Each to some degree.
